Approach and Treatment Style
My approach is client-centered, meaning that I prioritize your needs and goals in our sessions. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgemental space where my clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without fear of criticism.
I draw on evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and solution focused therapy where we will explore how thoughts affect feelings and behaviors and how to help you find solutions through what has helped you in the past. I often use an Eclectic treatment style encompassing parts of different evidence based treatments depending on what works best for each individual client. These techniques have helped my clients achieve lasting change. My goal is to empower my clients to become their own agents of change and to create a life that is fulfilling and meaningful.
